Issue description
I just upgraded to Synfig 0.64.0 from a previous version, which was working fine. On startup in Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, Synfig 0.64.0 throws a GLib-GObject-CRITICAL error. I tried to find this issue in current bug reports but couldn't. Sorry if it's a duplicate.

Steps to reproduce this issue
Just start Synfig 0.64.0. I upgraded from a previous version of Synfig, which worked fine.

ISSUE UPDATE. A day later I started Synfig 0.84.0 and after the window came up stating, simply, "synfig studio -- starting up application ..." it completely froze Windows. I could not kill it or even run the Task Manager. I had to manually power down and restart. I have uninstalled Synfig and will wait for assurances that these bugs are fixed.

Hi, bions.

"GLib-GObject-CRITICAL" warning appears on all platforms and doesn't really do any harm.

About the aplication freeze - this is different bug, triggered by window resize. We're working on fixing it. Meanwhile you can workaround it - if you have your system frozen during window resize, than just press ALT+TAB. That will unfreeze the application.
