Issue description
Using master: f9e38e9857f42657e3ecbb9dd1866ce0aea1b157

Windows 32 bits DEBUG build

When invoking the Preview window and it finishes the render of the last frame, this error is thrown to the console:

GLib:ERROR:../../glib/gthread-win32.c:638:g_thread_xp_AcquireSRWLockExclusive: assertion failed: (!lock->writer_locked)

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Notice that it only happens when using SOFTWARE renderer. If I check CAIRO render crash doesn't happen. Render is very slow though.

I need additional information here.
  1. Do you use RC2 binary package or compile from source?
  2. Does the bug hapens every time?
  3. Do you have "Use single thread" checkbox enabled in the preferences?
