Issue description
If you change the canvas rendering mode (menu/edit/preference/render) during a brush session, all artwork is losted.
Steps to reproduce this issue
  1. start synfig,
  2. load a png image
  3. choose brush tool
  4. brush here and there
  5. change canvas rendering mode : all brush artwork is losted
