I suspect a problem loading indexed .png (converting , with gimp, your image to rvb png it load normaly), but can't reproduce myself creating an indexed image from gimp.

Please can you indicate the exact procedure you use to produce this kind of image ?

Ok i have found how to reproduce "problematic images"

From Gimp, new image, draw something, add alpha layer, convert to indexed color, export to png : should to the job (create a buggy png image)
