Issue description
Using 1.0 RC1 on OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

It seems like the pop up menu is responsiveness to the mouse actions, although I can reach the different menu entries using the keyboard arrows and hit enter triggers the action.

Steps to reproduce this issue
  1. Right clic over a parameter (a contextual menu appears)
  2.  Move the mouse or clic the menu ->Nothing happen

Hello! This happens to me as well, but randomly. Sometimes I am able to select the menu items with the mouse.

I have recorded a video about that, please confirm you have the same issue - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cscz45WeFEs

Same as for Bug report 789 - Launching Preferences (Edit > Preferences) crashes Synfig Studio 1.0-RC1 on OSX, I found that this problem only happen if Synfig is built as native Quartz application. When built with X11 the problem doesn't happen. I think we should rollback to X11 version for now.

The updated X11-based builds provided here - http://www.synfig.org/cms/en/news/synfig-studio-10-release-candidate-2/

I think it's better to keep this issue open, maybe we can resolve it and get back to native builds.
