Issue description
Although the JACK functionality is wonderful, I am worried about its effect on beginners using Linux.

The JACK button is placed on the preview window near all the other controls. On a Linux computer, if you hit it by accident you have to go to something like KSysguard and Terminate the jackd process - otherwise you don't get any more sound on your computer.

I'm worried that beginners will not understand why they haven't got any sound or how to get sound back again, so it's a bit of a "dangerous" feature to have so easily accessible.

Given the side effects of hitting the JACK icon by mistake, would it be better to have an "Enable JACK Transport" function in Preferences so JACK can only be enabled by users who are sure they want to use it?

Hmm... placing "Enable JACK Transport" in the Preferences looks too far for me. ^__^

Possible alternative: we can display a confirmation dialogue/warning when user hit "Enable JACK" button. ^__^

It disturb user from his animation creating workflow. Adding an an annoying dialog to fix an annoying UI design is fixing nothing from my point of view.
