Issue description

I am running Synfig version 0.64.0 on Windows 8. From the Keyframes panel, I click Add New Keyframe, and Synfig crashes. I get a dialog box with the error message that reads synfigstudio.exe has stopped working.

Steps to reproduce this issue

Open Synfig Studio.
From the menu open the Keyframe panel
Click Add New Keyframe
Synfig crashes

Just tested Synfig Studio 0.64.0 (official download) on Windows 8 (64bit) and there is no crash when I add the keyframe.

The bug has been reported from various sources and platforms (but do not affect everybody, is that related to third party libs install?)
