animtim:

As much as I like this icon, because I use mainly this tool to trace ink lines using pressure sensitivity of my tablet stylus, I understand your point.

As the draw tool is meant to be used with a tablet (really a mouse is more efficient with the Spline/line tool) , and as it's the only tool that let draw with tablet pressure, I suggest something like this: http://timotheegiet.com/images/synfig/DrawTool.sif http://timotheegiet.com/images/synfig/DrawTool.png

(I had a "tablet stylus" icon made in synfig I used to launch a tablet config script, I just adapted it quickly, it can probably be enhanced again)

The icon is like this because this is the icon in the http://tango.freedesktop.org/ArtLibreSet that we're using.

draw-ink Tool for pressure/tilt sensitive drawing e.g. with a graphic tablet (Wacom etc.)

See https://sites.google.com/site/pxegeek/home for more details.

Anyway, I agree that the icon suggested by Animtim fits better.
