Possibly the most basic animation building block - getting a character to walk from A to B. Your challenge, should you decide to accept it, a walk cycle in Synfig. Quick, or slow, smooth or jerky, but Genete's looking for funny!

For help, check out http://synfig.org/Walk_Cycle

The message will self destruct in 5...4....3.....

Good trial auriel. I would like to change the walk to have the plants of the feet more heavily positioned on place, I mean the foot plant mut be completely horizontal during a walk cycle of a plantigrade animal. It also should not slip during the walk cycle.

Anyway thank you very much for participate and the gorilla drawing looks good executed.

This is a run cycle created by Zelgadis for the Morevna project. I helped him on the body, head and arms movements and he finished it with the legs and head refinement.

Notice how the legs and the forearms are moved in the z depth.

Well, I didn't want another month to go by without doing anything myself, so....

It's quick, it's dirty, and it's as close to a walk cycle as I'm going to get this month :)

P.S. That's one huge gorilla Auriel! Nice one!
