Right now we are in the process of preparing the new release of Synfig Studio. After a long discussion it was decided to rework existing terminology into something less exotic. For example, a quite confusing termin "duck" will be replaced with the "handle", which is more common word for other graphic apps. Linux users can download a testing packages here to see how it looks like.
This is a small change to the code, but it have a huge influence to documentation. That's why we starting a documentation update sprint today. In the days of sprint we have to re-write all documentation pages, replacing the old terminology with the new one. This is a lot of work and that's why we are asking our users for help. Please read the instructions here for more details. Your participation is much appreciated.
