“...That was the original idea from day one - the elimination of the tweening process. But it is certainly not the only feature of Synfig that makes it unique. In addition to eliminating the tweening process, I also wanted Synfig to be used for pretty much every part of production except story-boarding and editing.”
Utility that helps you render complex animations. Complex animation is usualy consist of several scenes and their content located in many files, which are dependent one to another. When you modify some file it's often hard to determine what needs to be re-rendered. Remake takes care about tracking dependencies between changed files and automaticaly re-renders sources of your animation affected by the change.
RenderChan is a tool for managing rendering of animation project. It takes a file for rendering and analyses all its dependencies. If any of the dependent files needs to be rendered (or changed since the last rendering), then dependency is submitted for rendering together with an original file. So, RenderChan constructs a list of tasks for rendering with consideration of changes in the project tree and existing renderings. The resulting list of tasks can be executed locally on the single machine or passed to renderfarm.
Images to LST file: This script takes a list of images and creates a lst file to be imported to Synfig Studio as a sequence of images. Thanks to David Rylander (Rylleman).
Render to png: This script takes a sif(z) file and renders a png image sequence at the same file folder. Thanks to David Rylander (Rylleman).

Synfig Stage allows a synfig scene to be created by combining Synfig character files into a single sif file. Currently this project launches a simple CGI server, GUI version is consifdered for development. Created by Mike Hingley.
A Synfig plug-in to create time reference and/or artistic kinetic text effects in Synfig, from Audacity track labels (aka subtitles) or excel/openoffice data.
The generated time reference (keyframes) is great for synchronizing animation with your audio.
The generated kinetic texts objects is a great basis for beautiful typographic animations, and can be customized easily to achieve your prefered effect(s).
