Mac OS X
DMG:
Running Synfig DMG package on Mac OS X requires Apple's X11 environment. It is included on the "Optional Installs" package on the OS X install disk.
Homebrew:
The Synfig core, ETL, and Synfig Studio are available as Mac OS X packages via Homebrew:
Entering `brew install` at the command prompt will install the package will together with all dependencies.
Fink:
The Synfig core, ETL, and Synfig Studio are available as Mac OS X packages via Fink:
Macports:
The MacPorts Project is an open-source community initiative to design an easy-to-use system for compiling, installing, and upgrading either command-line, X11 or Aqua based open-source software on the Mac OS X operating system.
